British Council invites applications for the position of IT Officer.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
  • ensure that the British Council Bangladesh's IT hardware, software, networks and systems are developed and managed in a professional manner.
  • technical support to IT users on standard software and hardware.
  • contract and procure as per business needs and rolling plan, and asset management, ensure risk management and enable authorised software usage.
  • ensure records of Servers, workstations, printers/scanners, computer names, staff accounts and locations.
And will have the following skills and experience:
  • excellent user support and technical support skills.
  • at least 2 year IT experience on server administration, networking and providing technical and business application support.
  • graduate with relevant technical certification - e.g. MCSE Certification.
  • excellent communication skills.
  • ability to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • very good English language skills (e.g. IELTS level 6).
We can offer:
  • Monthly salary Tk 41,525.00 (consolidated)
  • Transport allowance of Tk 7,500.00 per month plus other benefits according to the organisation’s policy
